Lost one of my best friends the other day
I try to not get too personal with my blog but I had to with this one adn i probably will with a few more later.
I’m going start from the beginning of the day I found out. That morning I was half sleep and I heard the news say it was a killing or suicide on 84th ave and E14th. Instantly I thought about eric because I know that’s where he lives. But shit always happens in that area so I didn’t think much of it. I opened my eyes right before the news went off and seen his apartments with caution tape. I logged on aim to see if he was online because usually he is. I didn’t seen him online. I was too scared to call him phone because I wasn’t ready to hear the news if it was him. I sat there glued to the t.v. flipping channels waiting to see them talk about it but nothing. All they kept talking about was the fucking presidents golf tournament or whatever its called. I kept searching the Internet but didn’t really get any luck. Till right before I left work. I did a google news search and one of the articles was updated. This time it said the two people involved in the murder suicide were cal state Hayward students. That’s when my heart dropped because that’s the school E went to. I was still in denial about it all. Just hoping it was somebody else would just happen to be cal state Hayward students. I called his phone no answer. Then I started calling some of our closest friends no answer. So I started sending text messages and facebook messages. By the time I get to work that’s when everybody started calling and texting me confirming it was him. I’m still in shock about it all right now. it really hasn’t fully hit me yet. less than two weeks ago he was just at my house playing some street fighter 4 and cod zombie mode. I would talk to I’m on the phone like every other day helping him with his music.
